1. Hearing Assessment
On the first appointment, the Hearing Health Consultant would perform a detail hearing assessment. Following interpretation of the degree and type of hearing loss, the consultant would discuss with you which the hearing aid technology is best suited to meet your communication needs. You would also know the realistic expectation of the hearing aid.

2. Hearing Aid Selection
Besides the degree of the hearing loss, lifestyle, occupation and cosmetic concerns are some other key factors that will determine the use of hearing aids. The Hearing Health Consultant will work with you to decide on the most appropriate hearing aid for you. Ear impressions are taken at the end of appointment for ear shell or ear mould making.

3. Hearing Aid Prescriptio
Hearing aids are programmed through computer basing on the level of hearing loss. Various measurements would be performed to verify if the hearing aid’s parameters are set appropriately. You and your family members will be taught how to use and take care of your hearing aid. During the one week trial, the users are highly recommended to follow the consultant’s suggested training procedure in order to get the most benefits by using the hearing aids.

4. Counseling on Maintenance
After one week trial, Hearing Health Consultant would discuss with you on your progress. Fine adjustment might be provided if necessary. Maintenance tips would be given as well.
